The La Rochelle Fiction Festival and ARTE are joining forces for an exceptional event in the Gironde region. On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Bordeaux audience will have the privilege of discovering "ETTY," the new creation by Hagai Levi, in an exclusive screening with the director in attendance.

Following the international successes of BeTipul , The Affair and Scenes from a Marriage , Israeli creator Hagai Levi returns with a powerful and intimate work.

Transposing Etty Hillesum 's story to contemporary Amsterdam under Nazi occupation, the series retraces the spiritual and romantic journey of this young Dutch woman, whose diaries have become a universal testament. Anchored by Julia Windischbauer 's moving performance , the series will be screened in its entirety (6 episodes of 45 minutes each).

The La Rochelle Fiction Festival, in partnership with Arte and Les Films du Poisson, is organizing the premiere of the latest series by creator Hagai Levi, "ETTY", in Bordeaux on Sunday, April 19.

The Utopia Cinema (Place Camille Jullian, Bordeaux) will host this exceptional event dedicated to European fiction:

  • 2:00 p.m. – 14:00 p.m.: Screening of part 17

  • 17:00 PM – 18:00 PM: Exclusive meeting with Hagai Levi
