Welcome to the Forensic Institute of Bordeaux, where corpses have finally found their best advocate. Alexandra Ehle (performed by the inimitable Julie Depardieu) is not a forensic pathologist like the others. For her, a body on an autopsy table is not just a medical file: it is a person whose story has been abruptly interrupted.

His mission? Uncovering the truth, no matter the cost. Whether it means stealing clues, infiltrating crime scenes, or disobeying the orders of the police commander (her poor, often overwhelmed brother), Alexandra stops at nothing. Her method is simple: she "listens" to what the dead have to tell her.
