Within the framework of the regulations for the protection of biodiversity, additional procedures may be necessary in addition to the request for filming authorization.

Nature 2000

Natura 2000 is the European network of natural sites identified for the rarity or fragility of animal or plant species and their natural habitats. It helps to maintain and restore biodiversity in Europe.

This is why certain additional steps may be necessary within the framework of the regulations for the protection of biodiversity.

Filming areas not recommended

Dune of Pilat

The Dune du Pilat and the adjoining forest are classified under the law of May 1930 on natural monuments and sites. The classification is a strong protection at the national level.Under the regulations applicable within the Grand Site of the Dune du Pilat, these natural spaces, which are particularly fragile, are not intended to host demonstrations or events. Requests for authorization are mandatory for all events planned on the Grand Site (filming, sporting, cultural events, etc.). The following are prohibited on the Grand Site of the Dune du Pilat:- commercial events: advertisements, music videos, fashion shoots, etc.- any project using the Dune or the forest as a setting or a support not directly related to its heritage aspect (scientific and cultural enhancement of the site). 

Some districts of Lège Cap Ferret

Certain districts of the municipality of Lège Cap Ferret are not suitable for filming, such as the village of grass or the Mimbeau.

Nesting places

Depending on the filming dates, arrangements may be requested in the event of a nesting period.
