OCEAN
The Atlantic Ocean: 126 km of natural and cinematic scenery
The Gironde extends over 126 kilometers of ocean beaches preserved, of Verdon-sur-Mer au Arcachon bayIt is a wild and spectacular coastline, where endless dunes, pine forests, human-sized seaside resorts and long beaches of golden sand alternate. These spaces are still little frequented, particularly on the Médoc coast, which offers productions precious freedom and preserved settings.
The Gironde coast is also full of World War II bunkers partially buried in sand, visible on the beaches and in the dunes. These remains offer unique settings steeped in history, perfect for filming historical films, thrillers, or scenes with a strong graphic character.
The Gironde's oceanic landscapes offer an incredible diversity of landscapes: cliffs, beach huts, urban beaches, ports, surf spots, seaside forests and seaside villages with a retro charm. In the immediate vicinity, the Medoc vineyard completes this visual richness with its castles and vineyards as far as the eye can see. A unique alliance between ocean and vineyard.
