126 km of beach, more than twenty rivers, fifteen lakes and a scuba diving pit, the Gironde has something to inspire you.

We could introduce you to the basin with Arcachon and Cap Ferret with their oyster ports, their stretches of white sand or their abandoned beaches.
But the Gironde is not just about that.
Our region is also the ocean as far as the eye can see, the waves and the abysses. From the Pointe de Soulac to the basin, the Gironde landscape changes drastically and makes you see all the colors.
If you want something more intimate, the lakes will be your allies to rock you.
In search of immensity? We also have a diving pit at least 20 meters deep.

Procedure for requesting filming authorization on the coast

Turning on a track requires multiple permissions:

  •  The beaches are part of the maritime public domain. Therefore, you must contact the geographically competent Town Hall.
  • Authorization should also be requested from the Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea – Maritime and Coastal Service (DDTM) which will issue the filming authorization.

Some locations belong to the Conservatoire du Littoral or the Office National des Forêts. You can identify them on Geoportail and depending on where you want to shoot, you must request filming authorization from one or the other.
