Intimacy coordination is a growing discipline that aims to frame sensitive scenes involving nudity, sexuality or emotionally intense moments in audiovisual productions. It ensures respect for the actors while protecting the artistic integrity of the scenes. By working in a respectful and collaborative manner, productions can avoid misunderstandings, abuse and create a safer and more professional work environment.

Training program and objectives

The training offered by Le SOCLE alternates between theoretical courses and practical workshops to ensure a comprehensive understanding and direct application of concepts.

  • Theorical class on the basics of intimacy coordination, informed consent, set protocols, and nonviolent communication.
  • Practical workshops to simulate intimate scenes and learn how to implement the protocols in real-life situations.

Case studies and adjustments of practices based on cultural and artistic contexts specific to different productions.

  • Learn them standard protocols to be applied on the trays to ensure the emotional and physical safety of all.
