Synopsis: Commissioner Pierre Niemans and Lieutenant Camille Delaunay are once again called upon to travel across France. Explosive and inseparable, they will need to support each other more than ever in the face of their new cases. A killer dressed in a suit straight out of a secret society in Nigeria is terrorizing an isolated village; varnished corpses are being discovered within a Fine Arts Institute with a dubious reputation; a center for serial killers is hidden in the Landes forest; and our investigators are even plunging into a very particular kind of voyeurism… The investigations awaiting Niemans and Camille take increasingly strange and unexpected turns, in settings and communities never before seen. Between esotericism, vestiges of the past, and unspeakable secrets, our investigators will have to be more united than ever in the face of the darkness of the human soul.
