Synopsis: Stéphane is married to Georges Feuvrier, a wealthy magistrate. She has an 18-year-old daughter, Cécile. Discovering that her lover, Wadek Aslanian, is having an affair, she kills him. With the help of Madeleine, her maid, she stages the murder to make it look like an attempted rape. Imprisoned, she is defended by Paul Delorme, a lawyer and friend of her husband. He investigates and uncovers the truth.
