Synopsis: Alice Leroy, four years old, disappears on a beach. She is declared drowned but her body is not found, and Sarah, her mother, cannot mourn. Eleven years later, Alice reappears. The investigation reveals that she was kidnapped by Jeanne Vivier, who raised her as her own daughter. Jeanne then finds herself confronted with the pain she put the Leroys through years earlier: Alice is taken from her to join her biological parents. Sarah and David Leroy will have to learn to live with the teenager that their little Alice has become, now torn between her two mothers.
