Synopsis: Jiscalosse, a village in the Landes region of France, is on the verge of bankruptcy. To save the town, Mayor Martine decides to sell a large part of it to Gerhard Jäger, the eccentric Bavarian CEO of a car design company, who has fallen in love with the Landes. He then decides to relocate an entire department and its employees to the south of France. This massive influx triggers a culture clash, leading to some comical situations.
