OFQJ Call for Applications: Participate in FICFA 2026

The OFQJ, the Franco-Quebec Youth Office, is launching a call for applications for emerging young filmmakers to participate in the Campus Acadie project , organized as part of the 40th edition of the Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie FICFA.

This call is aimed at emerging young filmmakers with some initial directing experience (short films, student films or independent works) and who have never benefited from professional production support.

Three young filmmakers will be selected to join a Franco-Quebec-Canadian delegation to Moncton, New Brunswick, 17 TO 20 NOVEMBER 2026.
The call for applications is aimed at people aged 18 to 35 year-olds, French or residing in France for more than a year, with initial experience in filmmaking: short films, student films or independent works.

Support is planned:

  • financial assistance for the return flight,
  • accommodation,
  • breakfast and lunch,
  • accreditation to FICFA and its professional component.

The application deadline is set for July 15, 2026.
