Item Emma: emotions in music
Imagine: as soon as you experience an emotion that is a little too strong, a fanfare appears to ruin your life and bend you into conformity.
This nightmare is the life of Jules, a 20-year-old showman (played by Zacharie Chasseriaud) who finds himself punished after feeling three strong emotions including anger.
The young man finds himself faced with an authority figure (played by Thomas VDB) who asks him to choose between a mime or a fanfare to cut short any feeling that is a little too strong.
In an emergency, Jules opts for the brass band, but realizes very quickly the stupidity he has just done, especially when he begins to develop romantic feelings for the beautiful Mona (Mathilde Lamusse).
This sparkling and colorful (and musical) short film was shot on the beaches and in the village of Montalivet, in Gironde.
This film, directed by Léo Grandperret, can be discovered now in replay on Canal+.
