THE FESTIVAL
The Latin American Cinema Meetings are an all-public festival organized every year since 1983 by the association France Amérique Latine 33 Bordeaux Gironde committee, which, according to their own presentation, “attempts to make known the history, the culture , the mobilizations and demands of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean in all their wealth and diversity”.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CALL FOR FILMS
The call for films for the 40th edition of these meetings is now open and available on the festival website. It will take place like the others in Pessac, at the Jean Eustache cinema, in March 2023. Do not hesitate to submit your film via a viewing link by sending it to the email address lesrencontres@fal33.org, after completing the registration form which can be downloaded from the page. The call for films is open until November 15, 2022 ; therefore, there are approximately four and a half months left before the closing date. The winners of the four categories (Audience Prize for Best Fiction, Audience Prize for Best Documentary, Jury Prize for Best Fiction, Jury Prize for Best Documentary) will receive a prize of €500 each.
